Established in 1993 | Continuously Expanding Our Footprint
In the 1990s, Taiwan was experiencing rapid growth in the high-tech industry. With more than 20 years of experience in the electrical industry, Chairman Lin recognized the tremendous potential of Taiwan’s sheet metal industry. In 1993, he officially established Cheng Mao Enterprise Co., Ltd. To manufacture high-precision, high-quality sheet metal enclosures, Chairman Lin made substantial investments in the most advanced sheet metal processing equipment from Japan and Germany, enhancing our ability to serve customers.
Rooted in Taiwan | Committed to Quality
However, Taiwan’s economic development also faced another challenge. As many Taiwanese small and medium-sized enterprises expanded into mainland China, Cheng Mao was faced with a strategic decision. Firmly believing that quality and service were Cheng Mao’s core competitive advantages, Chairman Lin chose to remain deeply rooted in Taiwan. As renowned technology companies established factories in Tainan and the Luzhu Science Park, Cheng Mao’s strategy of pursuing high quality quickly earned customer satisfaction and recognition.
Growing Talent and Facilities | Diversifying Services
As the number of companies and factories in the Southern Taiwan Science Park and Luzhu Science Park continued to increase, so did our customer base. Cheng Mao further diversified its product development and service capabilities and proceeded with the second phase of its factory expansion, increasing the factory area to 700 ping. To further strengthen our technological capabilities, we also invested in advanced equipment, including Japanese laser cutting machines and CNC press brakes.
Forward-Looking Planning | Continuous Improvement
Facing low-price and low-cost competition from mainland China, Cheng Mao has consistently responded to market changes through focused and steady development. In 2004, we began formulating a three-year short-term development plan, focusing on three key areas: talent acquisition, technological advancement, and organizational innovation.
In 2005, we anticipated market trends and boldly pursued new opportunities by acquiring a 1,200-ping factory site for the third phase of our expansion plan. In terms of talent development, we actively recruited outstanding professionals and began training 3D design specialists to support our customer-oriented customization strategy and provide more comprehensive services.
